Irish citizens travelling to Japan for a period no longer than 90 days do not require a visa. All non-Japanese nationals entering Japan are fingerprinted and photographed on landing in accordance with national immigration legislation. Any person refusing to provide biometric data on landing may be denied entry to Japan.
